Stephanie Lemek
Founder & CEO
Stephanie is on a mission to build trauma informed workplace cultures, which led her to found The Wounded Workforce™ in 2023. She has over 18 years of experience in a variety of HR roles, spanning various industries and in organizations ranging from large Fortune 500 to growing start-ups.
Stephanie has a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA. She is also a Certified Strengths Coach through Gallup, a Certified Trauma Support Specialist through Trauma Institute International, and a Senior Professional in Human Resources from HRCI.
In her spare time, Stephanie loves to spend time with her dogs and husband, Mason, making homemade pizza, and she also loves reading and hot yoga!

Melissa Redman
Chief of Staff
Melissa brings over a decade of in-house and consulting HR experience to The Wounded Workforce team. Her ability to be a strategic thought partner and manage the details (and Stephanie, let's be honest) makes her an amazing and integral part of of the team. Melissa has both a bachelor's and a master's degree in HR Management. Melissa is a Certified Trauma Informed Workplace Practitioner and SHRM-CP.
Melissa and her husband, Lloyd, reside in the Greater Phoenix area with their cats. In her spare time, Melissa volunteers at an animal shelter and fosters kittens!

Lexia Pilutik
Communications Intern
Lexia is a rising senior at the University of Montana pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Family Communications with a certificate in Health Communication. Her academic background provides a strong foundation for her role as Communications Intern at The Wounded Workforce.
Lexia's interest in health communication aligns perfectly with The Wounded Workforce's mission to build trauma-informed workplace cultures. She brings fresh perspectives and creative communication strategies to the team.
When not working or studying, Lexia enjoys Montana's beautiful outdoors, reading poetry, and a variety of crafts and arts. She's currently based in Missoula and engaged to her fiancé Scott, a high school history teacher.
